Eh, K-series have worse gearboxes than D-series, and they run the same size rod bearing which flies okay with the D-series but doesn't work out so hot for the K-series with the heavier rod/piston combo.
K-series is just blatant faggotry, sorry. You only swap them in to impress people, those people are exclusively men, and if you are trying to impress men you are a homosexual, sir. If you want fast, B-series are cheaper, are more robust, and are the path of least resistance. If you care about going fast more than you care what a bunch of swinging dicks think, then go B-series. Or stay D-series, which is a heterosexual affirmation of how little you care what sausages think of the car you build.

its a meduim sized saw, not too big not too small. i have an old 11hp stihl saw, i think they would both make great go kart motors
