The guys that do the flashes are dumb wrenches who've never been ***** deep in assembler. As long as you want to be one of them you can make silly comments to people who have been ***** deep in assembler.

So you're saying you've never touched an AEM, and have no idea what you are talking about?

I have no need to touch a AEM. I probally have the same experience with a aem, as you do with a mopar magnum pcm.

You lack familiarity with electronics, or OBD2 mandated flashing via a standardized and published protocol.

If it's anything like the SRT4 ECU I looked at, you peel back some of the rubberized potting and all the chips part numbers google up datasheets pretty easily. I doubt it's a different processor, or basic architecture. Lab grade logic analysers that do 32-64 lines @ a half Ghz, and decode I2C, CANBus, RS-232/485, etc, are under $500, so sniffing handshaking protocols is actually pretty simple. Drudge work, honestly.
