20b's are the ------- ----!
what do you need a bell housing adaptor for? if you switched it to run a jet prop you could mount the drive shaft straight to the crank.

I highly suggest you research your rotarys. Its not a motor thats for the weak at heart, once you get them...your solid...but yes. Remeber, they pop very easily. THey will still run when they are blown, but when they blow, its big $$ to fix. and you wanna go with a 20b... I suggest you find something NA for the time being, get that figured out...maybe a downdraft webber or a 4bbl holly and start there. Once you get that down...then move onto a 20b. just my $.02

a 10k rpm rotary motor...your gonna blow that bitch to peices. Sweet.

Also, castrol only in rotarys. dont forget, its a 2 stroke. It requires oil. Get away from the oil pumps and mix it with your fuel...

Why is 10k rpm unreasonable out of a 12a? There isn't a whole lot of movement going on, just makes sure everything's balanced. Hell, if Honda's can pull 10k (and I've seen a couple) I don't see why a rotary can't :P

Frank, you're being a douche again.

1. you don't own a rotary, so why do you act like you have all of this hands on experience with them since you moved to japan? because you know people who work on them?
2. For as much as we know that you know about hondas (not impressive, just the same general bullshit everyone else knows , I.E. me, and I have no interest in owning or building a honda what so ever) why should we put all of this mad jdm faith in you over some engines you haven't owned, and have no personal experience with maintaining or building?
3. Don't assume cody doesn't know his ----, he's pretty solid on most of this and he certainly seems like the type of person to do his research on ---- before he goes out and does it.

Haha...the day i blow 5 grand on a 20b is the day i move to japan and take lameass pictures of my friends cars

secondly, the car cost me 900...if it decides to blow up, so be it

i will not be blowing money buying expensive carbs on a car that has 100 hp

I will not spend money on decent oil, especially since i put in enough that the oil stays clear all the time

900 dollar cars with massive oil leaks ftw

since when is a rotary a 2-stroke? That's about the dumbest thing I've ever heard you say. :1
yes they do burn a little oil, but they are not a 2-stroke.

They are not 2 stroke motors, but they do have the same oil burning qualities as a 2 stroke. on my old 12a it has oil lines to the carb. It cant be considered a 2 stroke becuase it doesn't have strokes, no rods, no pistons, nothing like a traditional engine at all. 2 spark plugs per rotor to help burn all the gas/oil. So you are wrong in the way you wrote that, but right in the way you thought about it.
