It's still a 305 and you're still limited by a bore not even large enough to run a decent valve. While I can agree with the 'build it because you have it' mentality I can say that the best move would be to find an 010 casting 4-bolt 350 shortblock from a '70s truck or van. They're high nickel content 4-bolt blocks, usually with forged cranks. Not that hard to find, and $65 for a short block at the local wrecking yard.

If I were to build one it would probably either be a 327 or a 377 (destroked 400). Big bore/short stroke I've actually been thinking about building a turbo Trailblazer motor for my Nova. 4.2L twin cam straight-6.

Nice nice, perfect stance...well executed....cept maybe some white leter tires, and perhaps it should be a bit jacked up in the rear....cause you know how some people love the redneck hotrod look.....nuff sarcasm, i belive if you check back in hotrod's true street shootout there was a 60's rambler four door running a turbo 4.2? Car was brutal......loved it.

I see the HMT pedophilia is kicking hard

That thunderbird would look really nice, BTW, if it didnt have the accessories, and it had a different body shape and color.
