All right I"m pretty buzzed so i"m gonna be reallly honest, the nova did come with a 4cyl eber hear of that decade in between 1979 and 1990, also mildy built 305 oh ---- this ------ probually gotta cam watch out, than that t bird looks like utter ***, I really like the mexi chrome around the wheel wells, let me guess you live in a town of 400people and won best ford at the show cause you were the only ford that showed up, the crx that you owned looks like a retard having a orgasim. your cars look like ----

Just my 2 cents worth.......Y dont you do a turbo setup on the 305 an run 5 psi on it an see what it does.The internalls are strong enough for that kind of abuse.You dont need a 350 to make power.The 305 are readily availible an cheap if needed.
Got a 305 in the turbo truck now just to prove to everyone who says that 305`s are dogs/pigs/boat anchors.
My Goal is 500 ponies to the rear wheels on the 305.Gonna boost it 15 to 20 psi if needed to hit the 500hp goal.You got a good starting point with that nova,Have fun with it thats whats its all about.
Dont get a supercharger, you may like the looks but your motor will regret it.Belts are expensive an you usually eat one per weekend if you drive it much.
Also they have problems with the cranks breaking an also the front main bearing wear due to excessive side load being applied to keep the belt from slipping.The good thing about the turbo is its free hp an the only thing really needed is a good fuel system an ignition.If you have any questions i some good sources i could steer you in the right direction for this project.
