how is this car even remotely gay 
maybe they made it 450 hp because of insurance reasons or just because 500 was over kill for a car thats going to be in many peoples price ranges. hell 450 is overkill for most people when it comes to being able to control the car.

Wasn't insurance reasons at all. Would you go out and buy the Ford GT if you knew the GT500 was making the same power? Thats the reason. Same reason the ls1 camaros/firebirds were underrated from the factory. Same exact engine as the vette but the vette had to retain its title of Chevy's Supercar.

thats true. but most people dont have 100k to drop down on a car and if someones buying a ford gt there probebly doing it for status. and would want nothing to do with a 45k dollar car. but if people were buying based on power and it was 500hp it could very well take away potential viper/porsche 911/vette. but i dont think anyone would buy a cobra over a ferrari or a lambo if thats what they were in the market for. because there obviously loaded and want somthing to impress the ladys.
