Help! Polyurethane motor mount question
Alright I put the polyurethane in the mount yesterday and was hoping they would dry, well this morning they're still soft. SO, how can I speed up this process?
1. Put them in the freezer.
2. Put them in the oven and bake them.
The car really isn't itself without a daily *** beating so I want to be able to drive it tonight. any suggestions are welcome

Re:Help! Polyurethane motor mount question
If it is sunny and atleast 60F, just leave it outside to bake in the sun. I've tried the oven, and it makes the polyurethane a little too hard and too brittle. I let mine bake in the sun for a whole day. Good luck.

Re:Help! Polyurethane motor mount question
This is by far the worst mod I've tried to do to my car. My buddy Lincoln MIG welder thinks he can do solid motor mounts faster without the wait.
I just realized I have no patience. This is like watching paint dry

hahaha lol Whitey.
I'm about to do mine to....I have a lot of wheel hop and engine moving like crazy in the engine bay.
Try putting it near the heater...that is if you have one and it's freezing where you are

Re:Help! Polyurethane motor mount question
damn... same thing happend to me.... it freaking sucked..... left it out in the sun for about a week before it was safe to put it back on.....
Heres a suggestion....
1 Food Dehydrator... a few hours of your time...
Get a food dehydrator... and stick the mount in there... put it on high setting.... might stink up the place... and leave it for a few hours....
it should dry it up.... worked with my model cars for drying up paint overnight... instead of a week...
