I agree alot of the others look played, I do understand the want for simplicity though.. I think its a good idea.

Like others have said, they all look like ----. Honestly, they all look cheap and way to 'trying to be professional'..if that makes any sense.

Offer some merchandise or a lifetime discount or something and have a few nogs come up with a no ---- logo. Hell, that one design is no ---- straight up copy'd. -you paid for that?

I understand where you are coming from Frank, but HMT isn't my only customer base...just my favorite which is why I asked for the help. I do have to appeal to a wide audience, and as a business, I need to appeal to a customer with money to spend. Maybe I should have prefaced the poll with "take a slightly different point of view while judging" caveat...

My customers/friends here buy from me because of history, not because of what my logo looks like, but because I know my ----, and I give it to my customers straight up, ship quick and I stay in contact before, during and after the sale. Customers that find me figure that out quickly and continue to buy from me which is nice...but I need to stay sharp, fresh and on top of my game if I constantly want to compete with everyone who thinks they can put up with the bullshit I do and help the people out I do on a daily basis.

But potential customers that find me on sites where I don't have that history or through a search engine, are looking at purchasing from me through a much different set of lenses. Do I look professional is usually the first thing they ask themselves. It's like spotting a hot chick...the first question isn't "can I see your most recent STD test please" it's a thought to yourself "holy ---- that chick is hot!" You are buying the outside package, and just hoping you aren't going to catch the HIV. I want to do both as a business...look professional and then deliver the goods.

I may start looking at building or buying my own building down the road...we'll see how the search for financing goes when that time comes
