I have a geforce gainward 5900xt golden sample laying around i havent used in ages if you want it 20 bucks plus shipping. Plus it overclocks a ton if you need it to. It will play anything your trying to play prolly. If you want to go top of the line agp prepare to shell out some $ agp ---- is expensive.

If Yuri is ichbinsobose, I'd second buying that one. You're going to get way better performace by OCing and unlocking it than just about anything else other than an AGP 7900GT (which are about $300 now). It's by far the best bang for the buck. I'm running one myself and I play BF2, Sin Episodes, UT2k4, HL2 Ep, Prey, etc with great frame rates and 0 artifacting after unlocking mine to 16 pixel pipes and 6 vertex shaders.

my OC'd 6800 GT > OC'd FX

Just curious is it a 6800gt or 6800 and is it already unlocked? My lil bro is looking to replace his pos 9800 pro. As far as tossing the 6800 on his computer it would prolly be bottleknecked by the cpu in the first place so unlocking and overclocking might not do any good

Niether are unlocked.. you just have to add a registry (takes less than 5 seconds once you DL the registry file)... with nvidia it's called Coolbits. I'll try to find a place to DL it.

The 6800 GT and 6800 Ultra are the same except the Ultra is clocked higher out of the box. The regular 6800 has 12 pipelines while the GT & Ultra have 16. I figure if I just got the GT and OC it, it'll be just as good as the Ultra.

nvidia 7 series ftw. my new laptop sports a oc'd 7900gs 600/1200 3dmark05 score 8202. ive seen desktop versions of these cards as well. ps. sick ------- graphics and i can play any game thats out right now, just got done tearing up ghost recon advanced warfighter on 1440x900 graphics maxed out.
