Default Help With Grand Caravan

My cousin has a Grand Caravan with some issues. I'm sure exactly what the problem is but I think its something electrical. Its like a 1997 Grand Caravan and will run perfectly fine for about 10 minutes. Then it just shuts off. Let it sit for about 20 minutes and starts right up.

None of the gauges show anything wierd, no overheating or anything. It just dies automatically without any sputtering or anything.

I was told this is either the crank position sensor or the fuel pump. I really dont want to remove the fuel pump, can someone reassure me that the problem is the CPS?

If your fuel pump was dying then the gas gauge would not work. I would check vacuum hoses.

check if there is a idel adjustment. This happend on my friends crx,he adjusted the idel when it was cold and when it warmed up it would just shut off because when he adjusted it when it was still cold the cold idel was keeping the car idel until it warmed up.

check the fuel pump first (if you can't think of a way to check this out, take it in) then check the cps sensor. is it throwing any codes?

Its not throwing any codes. The fuel pump ------- sucks because its inside the gas tank. So to check it, I have to drop the entire tank and then take the pump out.

---- that, pull the interior above the gas tank, check if there is an access panel, if there isn't one, make one. Camaro guys do it all the time.
