Default help.....

i stripped a lug nut on my car trying to change rims and i was wondering if anyone has any good ideas on how to fix this little problem

ummm. usually i would just run on 3 lug nuts... itll hold unless you want to try to remove it, or change the hub..

is the lug nut still on or off?

its on but im trying to get it off because i need to change the rims to drive my car in this crappy damn rain

You mean you can't get the lug off? weld a socket to it, or find one that you can smash on there with a hammer.

i dont have a welder..... you think i can take the whole right side of the suspention to a shop and have them take it off?

You really want to take that much trouble? I would find a socket that just barely doesn't fit, like perhaps an Imperial sized one or something, and mash the ---- out of it till it's on.

vice grip? I suppose you could try to find a nut splittler big enough, but I doubt you'll find one.

i think the main problem is the rim has after market lug nuts on it but ill try all these things tomarrow and let you know what the out come is, ty guys
