And you don't need a romulator. Get a Moates chip burner for $85 or a Willem for $50 if you're really on a budget.
He's in Ireland. They have the d16a9 over there, which for all intents and purposes, is a 1.6 DOHC ZC. If you can lay your hands on one of those for around the equiv of $500 US or so, I'd just drop it in. It's a much better platform and arguably the best D series engine available. Sell the AFC on ebay and buy an OBD1 conversion harness and a ECU from Xenocron and run Crome. Obviously, you can get one anywhere, but Chris really knows his ---- and will help you more than anyone off ebay or wherever you end up going. I use a Willem enhanced burner and have no problems with it, nor will you provided a semblance of literacy and a good dose of RTFM! Go with the Moates if you don't have a laptop with a parallel port though. I'd also recommend a .50 trim T3 if you get that engine. A 42/48 or a 60/48 both of which are readily available JY turbo's and have good maps for that engine.
