Apparently Laskey is not willing to do ---- for me

Needing some HMT discount for this purchase know any good suppliers?
My brother has some new 84 or 84.5mm wiseco with no rings, not sure of the exact size yet, will need to ask him. They were put into the block and the shop threw away the boxes for them. These are for normal length rods, and won't work for the 2.2L stroker kits. They stuck out like 3/16 to 1/4" out from the sleeves, so they were never ran. PM me if you're interested in these.

so basically when I got this motor one piston had the rings lined up so there was no seal( leaving a couple thou oil streak down the side of the block) and there was styrafoam inside the block because of improper packaging. I emailed him and he had no reply to either.

When it came to fixing this problem he just passed the blame saying supertech wont give me money for a new head. and portflow wont do ---- because they dont care. Dave decided that he wanted to get the valves tested by a metalurgist to prove that it was a valve failure and not my human error, so Thats why I hadnt sent him my stuff yet.

I BELIEVE LASKEY SHOULD MAKE UP FOR THE PROBLEM THEY SOLD TO ME ( and to keep in mind i spent $7000-$9000 there)

I think that laskey should man up and give me some parts. Last email we exchanged

I was going to give you my labor to help out, that does not cost me a thing...just helps you. As for parts failing, you really are not helping me help you. All I asked for was for the broken parts so I could send them to ST. With out even doing that for me...I have no means to even get head parts for you. Some people/shops might just say well that's racing and racing parts...no warranty. I am NOT saying that, but like I said what I can do is give you cost on parts and if you wanted my help on the assembly, I would do that free of charge. Also I will have to collect duties before hand on any parts I send you. Last time on the engine, the duties were not paid on your end and Fedex ended up charging me your duties...a few hundred.

Hey Mike,

I keep meaning to call you except I never seem to do it. So here is what I think, for the cost of me shipping my stuff down there doesnt make any sense. Last year you had told me that you would pay for labour and give me cost on parts to fix my motor, So i now ask you if you would give me some parts to fix my block. Maybe some pistons/rings/headgasket perhaps? I will have the pictures of my valves and the messed up retainers sent to you shortly. I will get my head done here in Canada instead of sending it to portflow again.

What are you willing to do for parts?

Laskey is a middle man. He doesnt touch the heads and I have a feeling he doesnt build the blocks either. Who the hell uses styrofoam to pack a motor. Industrial plastic and cardboard do the trick every time.

Last time I checked Laskey crx wasnt built by him. He's a rich kid who's daddy threw 100's of thousands his way to race start a business.

Keep trying to get something out of him but it is most likely a dead end street.

I'd send him half the valvetrain -his request is fair in that respect - send the other half to be tested.

Yours isn't the first ST I've seen keel over, and I have no idea how their bandwagon hasn't been sunk yet.
