Yea that dark black is the carbonite in action. This manifold actually gets stronger when heated because of it, so your turbo will only fall off when your car is parked. I'm always thinking about the customer.

You know, I bought one of your "quality" manifolds. I really liked it until that incident happened. Here was the final picture before it hit the bottom of the BFI dumpster :P
