The reason they sell so much is that, however hard to believe, the majority of the import car industry's buying public is NOT on the internet reading forums 24/7 like us nerds are. some kid who has never heard of HT, or HMT, or whatever has still heard of ebay. He sees a stainless steel equal length mandrel bent tig welded manifold for his car on ebay for $150 and he's gonna buy it. because his favorite drifter's car has a stainless steel, tubular manifold on his S14. Why do research when you can just assume it is good right?

maybe its just my but i had a ssauto mani hold my t3t4 turbo for aroun 1500 miles and it never cracked at all it wasnt even braced, eveentually it would have but didnt so far.

mine has been holding my t3 for awhile and no probs yet, but i had all my welds gone over with a tig and some rod that is made to weld stainless to steel.
