Default Has anyone had this problem????

I've got a freshly rebuilt Silvia turbo on my civic and it smokes on decel from high rpm and when cold.I have a 4 an oil inlet and an 8 an return. The pcv system is vented and the head has a fresh rebuild on it. Could it be that I'm getting so much oil through the feed line that it is not draining fast enough especially when the impellar slows down or is cold? Could an oil restrictor fix the problem? What do you guys think?

smoking on decel is a sign of bad valve guides.

Does it smoke "white" on decel? Mine did the same thing, ended up that my return was too low on the pan.
It's worth a shot.

Using -10 is the minimum recommended for a drain line from all sources I've ever heard from.

Typically that means valve seals.
Me personally I can live with that....it just sucks for the people behind you who have to inhale it. :P

It's a T28 turbo from a jdm silvia. .48, .49. also got the 340cc injectors from an h22. Runs pretty rich for now, still need an fmu. Starts to spool at 1K and is fully spooled at ~2.2K. Pulls like hell, can't keep traction.

I am about to put my turbo setup on maybe sometime next week... i'll be using a Garrett T25, .54 turbine, and A/R .48 hope that'll pull somewhat desent... now why do you want to run an FMU? go with TurboEdit... MUCH BETTER OPTION. Also what kind of a manifold are you running?
