The use of drugs that alter one's perception can be very dangerous. Legal or illegal.
I was watching Judge Judy the other day and she explained that in a court like hers(you know, circus style) where one party is suing another party, and they each must make an account of what happened in a certain situation. If a person was using drugs around the time of the situation, the only thing the judge has to go off of is the sober person's testimony. She basically made the judgement for the defendant simply because the drugs the plaintiff was using throughout the situation could have altered his perception greatly.
I hate the common thought that this society's majority seems to exhibit. If a doctor tells you that you've got problems, chow down on some drugs. If you're depressed, have some drugs. "Hyperactive"? DRUG THEM. People don't realize their true strength when they dumb themselves down with these additions.
You deal with the issue, not cover up the symptoms.

Josh I agree people do stupid ---- but whether its legal or not, if they want to do it, they will. I've heard, never confirmed, that Amsterdam (capital of legalized everything) has less of a drug problem per person than the US has, even though everythings legal over there. Let them make their own mistakes, I say.
