Nice write up, I prefer to seperate the inner and outer leaves.

Cut the inner down the middle, empty the blunt guts and do everything else you did, but only with the inner leaf.

Then roll the uncut outer leaf around it, so its seamless. Burns much smoother and you never get a run.
