Same here. Won't deny that I have done it, but the consequinces if you get caught are just not worth trying to get home or wherever for that one night. I mean you couldn't even control your own walking ability... how do you expect to control a 2500 or so Lb. car Regardless if you passed a sobriety test

Take about 3 minutes to plan out how your going to get home before you start drinking. Don't just start drinking and then figure that the only way you'll get home is driving.

well I thought id just share my story in no way do I suggest driving drunk. But at the time that was the only option I had at the time.

another good way to keep your self from driving drunk is to just get so hammered that you pass out, then you won't think about driving home.

you can actually get a dui on a bike i had a friend that was riding his bike home when he was drunk a couple of summers ago and he fell off and passed out in the road and got hit by a car and got killed

I saw a report that sadi after 9 pm on a fri. or sat. night, 1 out of 3 people on the road are legally drunk. I live in a college town, and if you even think about driving drunk around here the cops pull you over. Ive been stopped twice in the past 4 years.

this all reminds me of a story. a friend of mine was driving around, drunk, and he was making a turn, he thought the turn straightened out, but it didn't, he went through a 2-3 foot high rock wall, broke the shackle mount on the front left side, broke a motor mount, and got 2 flat front tires, the car drove fine once he got some fresh tires on the front, but his dad wasn't too happy about the damage to the car that happened when he was "off roading" This was in a scout II.
