the shitty thing in VA besides any one between the ages of 15-26 alreayd being suspect, is that it only takes 12 points in a year to revoke yoru licence. so with this now passed if you get a ticket for 15+ over on the interstate in January, then get lets say run a stop sign 5 months later you will be with in a point or 2 from havin your licence revoked.
I hate the cops here. they do things like sitting outside of city hall the day after city stickers are due and write tickets to all the folks getting their stickers a day late. They also cruz around in Vettes, Viper Trucks and chargers trying to start races by lurchin a little when they pull up on the interstate. As soon as you bounce they hit the lights.

I always knew the was a reason that I wanted to move from VA and I think I know why that is now.
We have some of the most ------- ridiculous laws of there.
Every state allows radar dectors but VA, I could go on but why bore everyone.

I like how then blatently say its sole purpose is to generate revenue but they have zero concerns for finatialy ruining people and severly tarnishing their record. VA is full of ------ who think 3500 dollars is a ---- load of dough, myself being one of them. Dont get me wrong haulin *** down the interstate is wrong and all but come the ---- on. who hasnt gone 15 over, most places 15 over is what you need to do to keep with the flow of traffic, and they state they are also making a law that says judges cannot Dismiss the charge or drop the case or somethign like that.
VA traffic courts are fucked. i watched a guy get let off for his second DUI conviction in traffic court once about 5 years back. abotu 2 cases later my boy gets his case heard for a expired city sticker and a bald tire. he had one other speeding ticket for 19 over on his record at that time and that was about 6 months before this case. Judge took his licence and refuse to give him a restricted even though he wa sin High school at the time.
Now VA has pulled a 180 with the DUI laws in the last 5 cause its a minimun of 15 days in the pokey for a DUI, first offense or not.
Man I love the commonwealth
