h23 in a 89 civic hatch

Default h23 in a 89 civic hatch

does anybody know of a company that makes a motor mount kit to put a h23 into 88-91 civic hatch, or am i just going to have to make one

Are you doing this yourself? or just woundering? You you have alot of fabacating and cuting, welding to do to get that sucker in there don't you? Try http://www.hasport.com/Products/Mounts.htm, they don't maybe you could have them custom make you some otherwise im clueless.

thats the biggest displacement engine honda makes in the inline 4. no vtec. weak sleaves.

what are the specs on it? doesnt sound like a cost effictive HP gain to me.

i think if you can get an h motor in a civic it would be a crazy drag car but it too heavy to drive around with tight coner IMO aite ... bye

i am having the h23 sleeved by golden eagle,and i am putting a jdm h22 vtech head on it with a complete crower valve train.billet crower rods and je 9:1 pistons.

only 9:1, seems a waste of all those sweet parts... if you're gonna spend the dough, get at least 10.5:1 unless you're gonna turbo it... which you should.

i heard that someone makes an adapter plate to mate a b-series tranny to an h-series motor. that way you can take the h-series tranny and throw it in the trash. anyone know anything about it?
