I get the same ---- attitude in regards to megasquirt. Sure its not the best stand alone out there, but ---- it does the job and hasnt caused me any real problems since i put it in. The only thing is its hard to run on toyota DLI systems from the 80s. MY own major complaint is that i havent spent anytime fixing cold start, it tends to stutter like it has a blown headgasket for a few minutes when it sits over night
