if Pat can run 12's on a stock sohc, a built dohc should do quite well. just because a car makes 500hp, the driver has a lot to do with 10 sec runs.

167 whp at 1700 lbs makes for a 12.9 sec 1/4 - if you can drive. I witnessed a bone stock SN95 Cobra - the 285 hp car that wasn't - run a 12.8 on drag radials + some of the finest driving EVAR. The car's owner couldn't get it out of the mid-13's.

RLZ NA car makes a wimpy pathetic *** ~275 whp while at no time making any amount of torque worthy of note... in a heavy **** 2000 lb car. Missed high ten's last season because of minor problems, 11.14 was the best last year, but I've seen the car was running 1.38 sec and similar 60' times.

Only on www.honduh-imbecile.com are you lead to believe you need 500 whp to run 10's, and frequently see 600 whp car owners congradulated on hitting mid-10's. Like it's an accomplishment.

if a NA D15 SOHC in a 1600 lb CRX can run 10.77 @ 128 mph, why can't a turbo GSR keep up??

SFWD minimum weight = 2400 Two power adders = 2500

All motor 1.5 liter minimum weight = 1650

NA cars are much easier to launch. Things with torque that spin street tires when taking off from a standstill in 4th require a LOT more finesse.

There are also a lot of "stock" LS1 Camaros running low 11's. They take a sawzall to the car, but everything that is left is all "stock."
