So yeah, I was alittle bit of an ***. Sorry for that. but.......
1.) You made a post crying about a transmission. Saying you're going to give up hondas. That leads me to beleive you're not so experienced
2.) You have never cracked open a bottom end and think you're going to go to autozone and throw some bearings in. Then everythings going to be ****.
3.) How many motorswaps have you done? Ive changed over, or rebuilt about 90~ while working at polaris as a mechanic.
4.) Rebuilding a D series bottom end is ------- retarded. You'll spend more on the crank getting resurfaced, hoping your rods are not warped from being to hot, and buying all of the little things that you need to get when reassembling an engine. Than you would on a used running d16. And in the end it probably still wont last as long as the engine thats never been cracked open. Even if you think you have everything perfect. These engines arnt quite right after they've been cracked open. Unless you really know what your doing, and take your time to make sure everything is right.

Re: guess what i scored?
ive must have done over 100+ different swaps in cars over the past 9 years. ive rebuilt many chevy motors. i havent ventured into others yet becasue my parents have never owned anything non-chevy until recently and yes i was outta' line back when my tranny blew. it was my first day of school at ITT and i had no freakin idea what to do. "I" only had one running legalized car, mom had to work and my dad was still at work and the arrogant people around me here up in pontiac are ******** because they just say get the ---- out the road and fly past me while im tryin to figure out wtf is goin on. and i did some reading up on d16a6 motors and they are not worth the rebuild.im goin to just drop in my d15b1 out of my running civic into the shell of the other and it is a 91 i believe.pics will be up tomorrow as promised. got the digi tonight now i need batteries

9 year olds are badasses at rebuilding chevy motors. Are you rebuilding them vicariously through your dad?
