few thigns could be wrong:

firewall needs to be off
if your ursing a router you need to enable port 7777
any security software needs to be adjust to allow sa-mp
your using the wrong cd crack and it thinks ur on 1.01 instead of 1.00

i have my firewall set to let it through, and i opened port 7777 on my router, is it a UDP or TCP though?
i can open SA-MP and the game starts, but all i see is the vinewood sign(looks like hollywood sign), but i can't see my guy and it says connecting in the upper left side.
when i press tab to see all the players i only see myself?
wtf?
any help appreciated.

what server is everyone playing on? And what keys do what on the pc version?

set it as both, but its still being blockedd... just disable ur firewall and anti-virus
