theres not much more there than what everyone has told you. Take it apart, look at what piece of metal is fucked up (you can tell by looking where its rubbing) and replace the ---- and put it back together! SIMPLE.

Go to a driveline shop, tell them, hi! fix these! omg thnx you soo much! omg! and install them. Even better, most shops give you lifetime warranties. If the yellow pages are too hard, try Autozone. They sell axels too, and guess what... with lifetime warranties. If, of course, you don't mind replacing them 192345 times before you get a set that doesnt suck. If they are already remanned axels. they probably have a lifetime warranty already. jesus tittyfuckin christ.

the car was sitting for a good while
thanks for not knocking me though, I just need help and dont know where to look
Im not the type of guy who works at a shop and just keeps replacing ---- until i find the problem, id like to diagnose and fix it once, fix it right and not waste ll my money, this is a 18 year old car

yea id check the dust sheilds like the guy said b4, also wheel bearings, its something simple and obviously its in rotation with the car so a few things it could be but not much, put it on jack stands, take the front tires off and check your dust cover make sure its not rubbing the brake rotar, also b4 u take the tires off spin them and see if they spin free with not binding or anything catchin it at all.

Re: Grinding/Scraping Noise when Driving/Turning/ Low RPMs WTF IS WRONG WITH THIS CA
Well I just jacked up the car today
------- good bit of grease on the drivers side on the lca/caliper etc around that area,
its coming fomr the outermost part of the boot closest to the tire where the little clamp is. I dont see any tears though
Now could this be causing my problem? No grease = grind? There isnt that much grease but theres a good handful
Now if this is the cause I can either:
1- snip the clamp and fill it back up with grease
2- grab a spare axle with a fucked boot and get it fixed and try that
3- this isnt my problem look elsewhere
I see no other problems other than my oil leak
Hope someone can help

Re: Grinding/Scraping Noise when Driving/Turning/ Low RPMs WTF IS WRONG WITH THIS CA
I think its just a loose clamp though I dont see any tears or anything
Would this definetely cause it to make noise
Would a new load of grease and a tight clamp not solve the problem much easier?

Soooooooooo
i think I foudn the problem
I was under the car, just spinning the wheels looking for problems
I turned the passenger side wheel to full lock 9forget which way)
started spinning the tire and i kinda hurd a small metal on metal grind noise so I look over as im spinning the wheel
AND THE DRIVERS WHEEL WASNT SPINNING!!!
I musta spun the passenger wheel for 15 seconds in pure awe, I then turned the passenger wheel to the other side full lock and went over to the drivers side, took a look at the axle and what to ya know, I can see a good 1/4" or maybe a bit more of silver between the tranny and the boot, I try and jiggle the axle and it doesnt really move, the wheels then both spun in unicin and I couldnt get it on any spots to spin byitself again
-all bolts are tight
-axle nut is as tight as possible no movement there
Now I dont know what to do. Are axles different between the years? This drivers side axle is an 89-91 as it came out of my last 89 si. This new car that its in is an 88
I have no ------- idea whats wrong
