Went to the track for the first time, kind of a last minute deal. Was running on marble hard street tires, 92 octane pump gas, and lowish boost(22#)
Was a pretty good spin fest, I would leave soft as I could slipping the clutch, then boost and spin to the rev limiter, then shift. not going fast enough so it would bog and then pull real hard for a bit till the tires would break loose again.....then repeat the boost spin process. But when it was pulling it was pulling pretty hard. Best pass (1/8th mile) was a 8.62 @ 98.2mph
Going to have some sticky tires and more boost and timing next trip.

As for the driveshaft, my homebrew one is holding good and runs smooth. lol Not sure how though. I did toss one two driveshaft loops front and back before I went the the track. lol Going to bolt on my slicks and hit the track this coming weekend if I have the funds. Be cool if I could eek into the high 6's in the 1/8th with 22# of boost. Doubt it will happen though, I just can't shift this damn w50 trans fast to save my life.
