Great Site, Lurker just saying hi. and my ride
Been browsing this site for some time now. Have to say it is one of the better low buck turbo sites out there. I've had a few questions that I almost posted here, but a search quickly found the answers I was looking for.
I have been messing the fortd 2.3turbo's for the past few years, doing it as low buck as possible. Had one in the muctang coupe that went mid 11's, and then after that I had a 2.3turbo swapped into an rx7. It went high 10's @ 126ish untill it decided to get friendly with the wall one day.
Now I'm in the process of bulding an old school toyota startel with a turbo 3TC. Going slow but coming along.

Also have a few pictures of my buddies homemade turbo. It's a small block chevy in a mustang sporting an 88mm turbo adn a big a/w intercooler. He made his own headers, intercooler piping, engine plates, did the cage himself and even painted the car. Darn nice ride, it went mid 5's in the 1/8th last year with a 412ci nitrous motor, planning on going faster this year.
