Yeah, I know. Before I updated the firmware on the router, I was using MAC authentication, but why bother now, I highly doubt someone is going to break my 128 bit code. All I was stating was if you did get onto someone's network that's completely WEPless then I really doubt they are going to gather the evidence to prosicute you. Not like I'm trying to break into an admin's network.. I remember at HP in the office I worked at, they only had 64bit WEP gaurding their network and APs all over the place. It was a joke.

I knew about the 64 code breaking.. but damn 128.. looks like it's time to revamp security.. I'm going to have to specially gaurd the computers at the law firm I'm starting work at soon.
Who needs internet bandwith on your 802.11G when you can just use all the processing power towards WEP

well i got the laptop today guy sent the wrong one this has the same specs but its in perfect condtion even though it is a different model number, 390 instead of 600 thinkpad. god i love ebay. funny thing is i was pissed when i got it and i was like this isnt the right laptop then i was like ---- this is even better
