thast very close to the stock RPM for vtec, so I kept it. I always hit vtec at 4500rpm when teh ecu was unmodified.

I have been feeeling the "breaking loose at 5500" thing more lately and it seems that maybe teh clutch is slipping there

in 3rd or 4th gear @ 5500-6K the RPM kinda drops back a little bit then proceeds to climb up to 8K quickly, but I'll find out for sure what it is doing when it stops raining
