got a ticket from some bitchass cops

What is the legal car height for california? I've read it is 16 inches to the lights? And if so those cops are ------ crooked cuz my car is atleast 16 1/2 or 17 inches. Can someone lend some info, thanks.

Its 22 inches to the lights.I got that ticket 2 years ago.

Damn, they are really strict out there.

I had my Civic on the ground when I first bought it. I put the back springs on the front and chopped another set of backs for the back. My stock bumper was about 2 inches off the ground. No air, no hydro, just springs.

I didn't keep it like that for long.

Damn he told me it was an inch too high and my car is only 17 or 18 inches at the most, what should i do people? get coilover? barrow some stock parts from my friend?

It's just a fix it ticket right? You can just lift it a bit and show a cop and it should be waved. You could jack the car up and stick something inbetween the springs to raise it up a bit just to get the ticket squashed. It would be easier than swapping springs.

Lets see here ticket reads

driving w/no headlights
driving out of provison
frontplate not attached
headlights too low

the last one doesnt have misdemeanor or infraction circled but the last two are checked in correctable voilation

WTF were you driving? A shell? No headlights? Out of provision? WTF is that? You should have parked this car by the sound of it.

driving my 93 hatch si, atleast i got lucky and he didnt see my nitrous soleniods connected to my open bottle. But yeah that was pretty stupid, all this ---- cuz i didnt have headlights on.
