Re: Got scammed... can you help?
unfortunately when you buy from someone with no feedback you should know better.
Also, I know not as many people know, never pay through westren union or any other wire transfer, you're just out of luck, unless you want to go to new york

Re: Got scammed... can you help?
yeah what he said..
Also note the previous transactions if they have feedback.
person might just be a deadbeat or just fucken lazy.
at any case its internet Fraud.!!!
call the local magistraight, police, constiable, ask them..
if that fails raise aditional 1k or more and take contract out on the individual
rule of thumb
Never bid on auctions from people that don' t have feedback
People that have more then 50% negative feedback
Never pay Western Union unless thier a Vender(ebay store.. most likely they have Paypal)
always use Paypal as possible or some kind of provider that has payment protection (credit card)
and most of all
NEVER EVER use any common names or persons, places birthdates of your self your faimily members(family pets too) or even Social Security #, your Telephone # as a password. PERIOD...
passwords: Should have at least be alternating combinations of letters and numbers IE.1A2B3C.. like so
if you do your asking to get Hacked and its your own STUPID FUCKEN FAULT FOR BEING IGNORANT.

Re: Got scammed... can you help?
my friend notified ebay
along with the local authorities who are 'supposed' to notify (more than likely they won't) the authorities in NY
When I saw the auction I was skeptical about the seller. It was a good deal, and when he said that he would pay for it, I told him as long as he is going through ebay he should be ok. Because in the auctions you will be able to get sum.. maybe all of your money back. But the email wasn't from ebay, and I didn't know it.
I think it will be a costly mistake for him and I hope that maybe something good will come his way to make up for this.
Anyone in the Bronx want to take a trip to that address to see what it is?
I won't help a friend out by hiring someone to do something to another person. But if someone has enough rage against a person that steals from others and decides (on their own free will) to kick the ---- out of them.. I might be obliged to send a care package to that person, money is always nice..

Re: Got scammed... can you help?
That sucks....I got screwed out of $400 two years ago and thank god the local police in MD, worked with me and visited the guy until he sent me back my money. It's too bad when these sort of things happen. Best of luck to you. Moral of the story: If it's to good to be true it probally is.

Re: Got scammed... can you help?
to anyone looking on ebay, this seller
Nia Kimhal
Nia U Weaver
Ebay name
birkner2046
Is also selling integra gsr seats, suspension and other things.
The person's name on AIM is NiaKimhal (it is the same as the email NiaKimhal@aol.com) is there a way to find out information about a registered aol user? Or maybe find this name in the phone book online. I am currently looking.
My friend reported to me that he can get his money back if the person is caught, but other than that he is screwed.. If we find out there is an apartment at the NY address.. My buddies and I might be making a HMT roadtrip to NY soon.
