Re: Got me a new daily driver
^ nice
One of my first rides ever was a Cherokee. I loved that thing even though it was ragged the ---- out. I'd buy another in a heartbeat...plus I'm looking for a winter beater so maybe I'll get lucky.
The starters are notorious for being pieces of ---- though, so if you can't get it started one day no matter what try giving the starter a whack or somethin. I always put mine in drive then got behind it and gave it a few good pushes to try and get the starter to kick over onto a good contact point. Worked like a charm but got tired of doing that.

CSaddict. I like yours. Looks damn good. Someone was telling me you couldnt lift our cherokes more than 2" since it is a uni-body.....Do you have any oil leak problems form the pcv hose on teh valve cover to teh intake? Mine leaks like a bitch. what are the size of those goodriches and how much were they? I like those.
I am still trying to figure out how the hell teh intake and exaust manifold is on teh same side of the motor.
I was told on a Jeep forum that maybe the ground is bad and causing the starter to not do its job, but I'm not convinced. I'm gonna take the power wire off the starter tomorow and clean it all up and see if that fixes it. If it doesnt, I am going to wire in a push buttong switch for the starter. This way I wont have to pop the hood, get out and jump a wire from teh starter to the battery...

LOL 2" max lift. Thats funny. Go to www.NAXJA.org If you want a really nice lift kit check out www.rubiconexpress.com
They make the best Jeep lift IMO. Mine was back ordered and was about $1k so I skimped and bought this rough country lift. It does the job but rides like ***. Tires are 31's.
