I was going to start working on a good theaft deturent.

It consisted of spikes that would come through the seat operated by a pressure switch in the seat that was going to powered by the alarm. As soon as the pressure switch was depressed(by thief sitting in the seat) the spikes would shoot through the seat !Not too far in,but enough to make him not be able to sit for the next few months.

Im gonna work on it when I get some free time :P

im not worried about it being driven away .... im worried about it being towed..... i want a pager alarm, maybe with a motion sensor, so i know when my car alarm goes off and the car starts moving ... the faster u know its been stolen the better chances of getting it back ..... them i need some way to track it down !!!!!

bro unless your driving a car thats worth being towed theres no point in getting anything like that....with all the effort of putting a car on a flatbed don't you think there going to go after more exotic or luxurious cars than an integra?? i'm not trying to be a dick but think logically....guys driving around a flatbed are most likely looking to make a decent amount of money. again no pun intended

my beat to ---- eg hatch was flat bedded or pickup right outside my house ....

and for your information this is the way people steal cars these days .... theifs that are too lazy to bother getting in the car ...

in fact, they dont even have to get out of the tow truck ... alot just use the type that u back up and pick up the wheels and they are off.... without ever getting out of the truck.....

not only is that highly dangerous, its very illegal, imagine some little kid playing with you alarm, maybe even your own kid, the alarm is triggered and spikes shoot into his body, yeah thats cool isn't it?

on a side note, my alarm saves me like 60 bucks every 6 months, some insurance companys give discount, some give discounts if you have a shop install it, and some don't care... mine only asked if it was an automatic arming alarm aka last door arming as well as many other things, basically once i shut the door in my car, within a minute it is armed unless i open the door, or stick the key in, kind of a pain in the ***, but beats forgetting to arm the alarm and being owned
