They are made fo welding big ---- not little car parts. People welding on bridges use arc welders.

If you want to waste your money you'll regret it man, you can get an OK mig for 300.

ya dood, don't do stick. even if you get a low amp mig and just pre heat the metal and do multiple passes it will be a hell of a lot better than an arc. and if you're like me and don't have a garage I weld in the basement you might enjoy the argon gasses that a mig uses.

Go for the Mig if you can afford it. And not the flux kind! It's gotta be gas!
