it doesn't say if its street legal or if it is. if its still comfortable to drive on the street. and that supra is using nitrious too. the 1100vette is running only 20psi. that supra is running 34psi. the vette has a warrenty, think that supra does with all those mods and 34psi? doubt it
that lingenfelter vette is 50 state street legal, DEQ, & noise legal.
anyways it doesn't matter where the engine is built. 2 more cyclinders can do a lot for you.
lingenfelter has a 2.2l ecotec dragster, well over 1000hp. john lingenfelter almost died in it... (he is in a coma right now)

d16z6 that vette runs in the 8s with street legal tires. faster than full dragster hondas?
btw that VW is quad SUPERcharged. and the v16 is made by joining two v8s :P

Full-time four-wheel drive is required to find adequate application for the resulting torque, which is derived from four superchargers. The mid-engine car is driven by an exotic W-16 engine made of two V-8s joined at a 90-degree angle, like some weird play on the initials VW
