What did that one guy mean swapped a smaller turbo?>
these came with probe turbos on them and were slow as hell.
The turbo on my Tbird is quite large for any street going car with a 4banger. Get the facts right
I could tell u what turbos came on every year of every tbird since they first came out!

They're not bad investments I just like them.
Who cares what they're worth after u mod them.

If everyone in the world worried about that no one would ever mod their cars.

I think 11's are possible too, more tuning, SLICKS!!!!!!
What's the cage law, 11.99 or better?

U FAIL TO REALIZE working @ walmart isn't that bad considering I'm only 19.

cage law.no cage law, its a rule. It depends on where you are runnin your car.
at my track, if you are 11.99 of faster you must wear a helment.

you dont need a cage if you are on street tires doing 11.99.

if you run non-dot slicks and faster than 11.99 you need a cage.
(use street legal slicks) bf goodrich makes a really nice set.

I was thinking your car came with the garrett turbo, not the little POS one.

The factory turbo T, SVO stang, and meker came with either a .48/.60 with 60-trim compressor or a .63/.60 with a 60-trim compressor.

how the hell are you revving that 2.3 to 8100 rpm when, from the factory, it will barely rev to 6000. Those engines have a very long stroke.

No the 87/88's came with the probe style IHI RHB5IT-21
Basically they're tiny and are pretty inefficient on this car past a certain point.

And the stock computer limits the revs to 6250 stock on the US Spec birds. Canadian Spec like i have are a little higher. Regardless the eec tuner does away with most of the engine limiters as well as governers. Besides it may rev to 8000+ but the power band would suck if I dropped the limiter off with nothing to raise the powerband.
