look at it this way...
we throw away or throw in the junkyard an old 350 right...or it can be purchased for really cheap in a junkyard....
well...in japan for them the B16 or sr20det or rb26 is is there 350.
plus...once a car reasches 30K miles they have to pay a tax on the car. the tax is usally around $2,000 so the japs say ---- it, just get a new car, and the perfectly good car goes to the junkyard. this is how it is intended, how the japanese economy is set up. and it works.
kinda hard to explain over the net.
and JDM craze, its not called jdm in japan, its the way it is.kinda like usdm, its just the way it is here.
we try to accomplish what they do over there.
and also, if you arent running 12sec in a 1/4 mile in japan, your car isnt ----.

someone i worked with said, "since I love the import cars so much, i will make a killing fixing peoples cars on the weekends because no one trusts someone who they cant relay with when working on there car" -makes sense.
