damn moron, they pay outrageous taxes to get so called free health care.

if you guys did any research on your own you would find the US health care system is gigantic leaps above any other countries

i wouldent think it would be to many "gigantic leaps" ahead of canada. The problem is that most doctors are rich kids whos parents pushed them to be a doctor for the money and nothing else. so all of these doctors are in the profession for the money as opposed to someone who did it to take care of someone. I would think in canada (lets say they do pay outragous taxes for this "free" health care) the quality of care would be better because most doctors would be in the profession because they liked it, and liked treating people insted of making the above stated 2000 dollars an hour. even if canadians do pay more taxes for this health care, i seirously doubt it equates to how much u.s. citizens have to pay for health inusurance and copay on visits and perscriptions. I was researching getting a health insurance pollicy and they were all around 130 a month didint cover doctors office visits, they wouldent pay for anything under like 1000 dollars at a hospital, and perscriptions had a 50 dollar copay. so its basicly like throwing 130 a month out the window unless somthing tottaly seirous went wrong.

Personally I think not having health insurance is retarded, and I'll tell you why. Yes, I think it is a rip off. But:

A couple years ago I had a snowboarding accident, long story short, they thought I had internal bleeding... they needed to see if I had a ruptured spleen, potentially deadly. I didn't have health insurance. They had to do a CT scan of my abdomen. Turns out they found nothing wrong. BUT the CT scan and examination was over $5k. I was stuck paying the bill. I got health insurance right after that. Health insurance would have paid that ----... anyhow, in the future, medical treatments and tests will continue to get more expensive, it's just the way the industry is. If you have any health problem or accident (that could happen to anyone, at any time) you're screwed if you don't have insurance. I know it's a rip off. But it could ruin your life if you don't have it. Or, you could just rely on the hospital or federal government to pay for your healthcare. Why don't you apply for welfare while you're at it? Or, let's skip the formalities, why don't you just take the ------- money out of my paycheck directly??

Yeah i ------- hate the hospital as well. Im 18 and i was under my dads health insurance cause he works for the county. In march i got attacked by a dog and needless to say it fucked me up. Ill see if i can get a pic or soem ---- but i doubt it basically i needed 12 stitches, ten on the side of my face infront of my ear and two on my cheak and they had to leave the puncture wounds open. sucked nuts. it was at my friends house and they are taking care of the medical bills and what not. we told the hospital that and everything and because they failed to file the right report and to contact my friends parents they sent me to the collections agency and at the end of this week this ---- goes on my credit report. Those ******* are dumb as hell after telling them i got attacked by a dog three times in one night and having it filed three times in one night it seems that they think i was in a car accident i got to straighten all this ---- out this week.

with how much i have to pay for car insurance and rent. i litterly cannot afford health insurance. i spend just about every ------- dollar i have just so i can go to work, and i work 50 hours a week. so maybe i should get a new job or somthing. but around here i will make less than i do now and will work for a shitty business. so why dont i just skip the formailtys and take all the money back ive paid in taxes and pay it with my own paycheck
