I don't know if anybody remembers, But two years ago i made a post about me rear ending a bitch while i was delivering pizzas for pizza hut. I didn't have the right kind of insurance to be delivering pizzas. Now she had nothing wrong with her or her daughter at the scene. Even drove her explorer home. The only thing wrong was i made the rear drivers side part of the bumper turn downward. I destroyed my front bumper and lip, hood, both fenders, windshield, Radiator, both headlights and corner lights, radiator support, and bent my headers up. I was not even ticketed for it. There was no fault blamed. She was going about 5-8 mph and i was moving about 45. That was May 10th, 2005. The statute of limitations on this is two years, So on may 4th this year, i get served a citation saying i am being sued. She said she has serious personaly injury requiring substantiol Medical visits. (i.e. She went to a chiropractor a couple of times.) Now im being sued to cover her personal damage and for pain and sufforing. Her 4 year old daughter isn't hurt at all and she was sitting in the backseat. She missed the statute of limitations by a couple of days. The attorneys aid also delivered the citation on the 18th (i think) with it being dated on the 4th. It wasn't even fully filled out. So i thought that was really wrong, so i went to the district attorneys office and asked him about it. He said as long as they put the lawsuit in motion before the 10th it doesn't matter what day i was served. Also that the reason it wasn't fully filled out was that it wasn't a peice officer who delivered it to me. A civilian can't Fill it out. So two days later my insurance company (who has known about this the entire time) sends me a letter saying that my insurance has been cancelled becuase of the fact i was delivering pizzas in my car at the time without the proper coverage. I was like WTF!!! so i call them and they tell me it was actually cancelled due to non payment, which is right becuase i sold the car after the sunroof ripped out on the highway and pissed me off about two months earlier. I took it up with pizza hut about why they don't make you have some kind of insurance that covers this and my old manager told me it was my responsibility when in all reallity i had no i idea. They told me i signed something at my insurance the says i can't deliver pizza in my car, which im sure i signed, i just don't remember it. So basically im being fucked with no lube.

Cliffnotes. Got in a car wreck two years ago and now im being sued and have had my insurance cancelled. Fucked up.

Shitty situation man. Some stupid beaner tried to pull the same ---- on me last year, but cop backed me up in court that the guy was completely fine at the accident. Helped that the guy's license was expired though. Get a lawyer, because its bullshit. Cracked out mom probably needs her fix, offer her a few rocks

Yeah, I'd say get a lawyer...If you weren't ticketed or found at fault at the time of the accident, I don't see how she can come back and try to sue you...She might can ATTEMPT to sue you, but if a cop came to the scene of the accident and didn't find you at fault and also didn't make a report of any personal injuries she had, I don't see where she would have a case...And you're right, it's BULLSHIT how ppl(and the law) can wait that long AFTER an incident to take action against you in court, I hate that ----...
