I doubt there were any hyundai cars on there. Hyundai has been building ships before they ever built cars. They have a show on Discovery or TLC showing one of there ships with a 2-3 story tall engine.
Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), the world’s No.1 shipbuilder, has developed a 1,790-ton, 77,600-horsepower ship engine - the aggregate power of engines produced by the shipbuilder surpassing 50 million horsepower.

The company achieved the world first despite its short history in engine construction, outperforming Japanese and European competitors.

Since HHI first produced an engine for a small vessel in 1979, it has created various types of vessel engines, including a 93,360-horsepower one, the world’s most powerful engine to date.

``This is a monumental accomplishment by HHI, which has the largest production capacity for ship engines in the world,’’ the company said in a statement. ``We plan to further expand production to increase our control in the field of engine manufacturing and shipbuilding.’’

The 77,600-horsepower engine, which is 21 meters long and 14 meters high, will be adopted at a 5,600-TEU container ship it is building for Germany’s C.P. Offen. It is the 1,933th ship engine manufactured by HHI.

HHI emerged as the world’s No.1 engine maker in 1988 and has since retained its position. As international orders for ship engines grew, the firm, now controlling about 35 percent of the world’s engine market, set up its third engine plant last year.

The firm will invite HHI’s former chairmen and construction officials to a ceremony today to mark the accomplishment.

``Some European companies have been involved in the field for over a century, and some Japanese firms for over 80 years, but no one has come close to what we have done,’’ the statement said.

HHI has developed new types of large engines controlled wholly by an electronic system. The firm used various state-of-the-art technologies that are expected to set a new trend in the area of ship engine construction.

The company expects the world’s engine market to grow steadily with a number of countries eager to build up their logistics capabilities on the sea. HHI officials said the firm has won enough orders from the world to keep its engine plants rolling for the next three years.

Don't worry, the boat only has chinese wastegates and more illegals on board. We'll be ok.
