Bush doesn't have to win re-election as this is his last term. Therefore, he has nothing to stop him from seeing out his agenda - there will be a war with Iran before the end of his term.

All that's happened here is the loss of a sweet chance to make a tactical strike with nukes that decides the whole affair... that's supposing the whole scenario doesn't escalate into another World War. I don't think ANY country doesn't have a firm opinion on the use of nuclear weapons.

You totally failled to notice Bush making repeated comments to the effect that Iran is a significant problem, while ignoring China and N Korea's more advanced nuclear development and more aggressive stances? He went from Afghanistan to Iraq on trumped up claims of WMD, none of which have been found, you really think he cares about justification at this point when there's another country he wants to attack?

What really bothers me about Iraq is the fact that when we decided to go in and search for ---- we found absolutely nothing except a few APCs and some gold plated AK-47's. You don't just go into a military power like Iraq and find nothing. Something's fishy with that.

Now I hate conservative beliefs as much as the next liberal, but that ---- blows my mind how quickly everything was moved out.

Iraq was far from a military power. and even if they were a "military power" they never showed 1/100th the agression towards the US as somne other countries.


we always seem to over look countries that have nukes(and the ***** to use them) but no oil. but if you have oil, we'll say anything to get in there.

Racin, thats because people wont complain as much about a war if their gas prices are a tiny bit lower. Oil is the reason for these wars. If Bush was really out there to cleanse the world of evil dictators I don't think Iraq would've been high on the priority list.

bush didn't make up this crap, it was around before he was even governer of texas.

please get on the record as saying bush will start a war with iran before his term is up, so you can be wrong when it doesn't happen. even if iran started a war, you would blame america first and say bush made it happen.

oil/gas prices are higher than before the war in iraq. liberals can't agree on one talking point, either the war was for cheap oil, or the war was to drive oil prices up so bush can make more money for his friends. (how many people take huge risks so their friends can make money?)

they did find WMD in iraq, but not on the scale they thought there would be, and the stuff they found was very old. there is a book out by one of saddam's former aids saying the weapons were shipped out to syria before the war started. believe it if you want, doens't blame america so its probably not true.
