i hade a grind in 3'rd gear at anything above 4k rpms's. replaced my trans fluid with some honda MTF and the grind was gone. smoother shifting as well.

I'll have to give the pennzoil syncromesh a try...4th and 5th gear grind pretty good going in at any rpm above 4k also. 5th gear is getting to the point I have to double clutch it just to keep it from grinding. :P

Funny though, it doesn't grind at all when it's cold with normal 10w30 oil.

hands down best tranny oil for hondas. You need the friction modified stuff instead of the regular stuff though, the pennzoil stuff is non fm. I run syncromesh FM in my TL's 6sp

Nothing can hurt or help shitty H-series. It was the test bed for K-series, after all!
