The firewall was cheap, will hold more value (done correctly), and I wasn't going to spend 8 years in the garage building a car that wasn't different. There won't be any stupid jdm garbage on the car, only things that I've decided I want.

Some people never figured out why you built a twin turbo D series with nitrous that never ran. I guess it was your project, and in the end, you did what you wanted.

I can't remember when I decided to shave the mouldings. I've second guessed it many of times, but I've second guessed alot of things being on the 5 year plan for this thing. It'll still be my work, so it doesn't matter. With the dark color I'm going, it's not going to show up anyway.

Looks good steve. I have to agree I enjoy working on a project almost more than driving. When it's all said and done the best thing is you've done most everything yourself. It's nice to create something. Good luck.

two ways to look at it. Dark colors will show the errors more, but dark colors you will not notice the lack of black side moldings as much.

Looks excellent Stealth. I know what its like to paint a car in the garage so I feel your pain. I spent a little more than a month fixing/painting my car and this was over the summer in HS (So every day for like 10 hours). When you are done it will feel like you started the project just the day before. I know thats how I felt when I finished and the last bit of wetsanding was polished.

BTW the getting high problem... this is my friend's LS that I painted the summer after I painted my CRX... I learned.

dark colors show the flaws in bodywork, but they blend bodyLINES together.

That would be thoughtful if stevemode was trying to impress asians. See when you get to build a car the end result should make you happy, not people on the internet.
