geo storm

Re:geo storm
Not sure what ammount of abuse those engines and tranny's can take. Like Xplocivic said it might not be worth the time, money, and effort. It would make a sweet sleeper though. No one would suspect a little Geo. Do some research and see what you can come up with as far as engine capabilities.

Re:geo storm
Although I don't think its a worthwile project, I know for a fact that a Storm is just an Isuzu Impulse and there was a turbo version, so there you go. Just find a turbo Impulse engine and you have yourself a project. You may be able just swap the mani and the turbo in and call it a day, but I doubt it.

Re:geo storm
I ---- you not...here around Maple Gove in PA theres a guy running low 11's in a Yellow Geo Storm. STOCK INTERNALS 26psi. After I seen that, anything is possible to go fast. (Unsure if its the 3 cylinder or not, forgot to ask)

Re:geo storm
The Geo wagon-ish thingy can be modded to fit the turbo impluse motor and AWD drive train. A dude from Florida did it and it runs high 13's stock bone stock EVERYTHING ( even the stupid Top mount IC and little bitty turbo ). He raised the boost 2 psi I think, but besides that, its bone *** stock geo storm extended looking wagon version.
It was in some "import magizine" I read at Walmart while the ole lady was shopping.

Re:geo storm
Yeah I saw a site of a guy that bought a isuzu imuplse turbo and the body was beat up .... he put the engine in e geo storm.
The geo storm with turbo is probably the geo with a impulse engine swap. I would jump on it for a good price though. The isuzu impulse turbo engine was also used in a Lotus back in 1990 and '91.
That was the comeback for lotus since the 70's
