ok guys i got this ricer that paying me to build him a turbo kit he has a gay 98 420a non turbo pos

ok i found the stock turbo eclipse parts.. piping side mount IC exhaust manifold all i need is the turbo and dowp pipe pice that will bolt up ,..
now i need help wiht fuel managment cuz i was just gonna do injector controller that i could get from a friend for $200 and throw some injectors in the charge pipe before the throttle body but this fool is rice you guys think i can pull this off with a crappy fmu and fuel pump hooked up inline... let me know what ya thiink and wat you got for sale taht if could help me out..

If I were you I wouldnt waste my time, unless the pay was good.

but....

I would use a GST ecu, run the 450's and bolt on the turbo plus whatever else.

it's a vortech 12:1 fmu.
well i paid $400 for it but i'm willing to let it go for $60 shipped.
btw i paid $65 shipped for it, but after a month i didn't get it, so i went with a chip and dsm bluetops. 2 weeks after i got my 450's i got the fmu in the mail.
so now i'm just trying to get some of my money back.

Retarded. I hope thats an SFMU....the one you can control the idle fp and whatnot for larger injectors. I doubt that though because my 12:1 fmu looks EXACTLY LIKE THAT and i paid $60 shipped for it to my doorstep never been used!


Basic fuel system on a 420a is to run a 12:1 fmu with a wally 255 or a gst/gsx fuel pump. Works for about 12-15 psi but i would keep the boost wastegated down to 5-8psi or the ringlands will go in no time.

You want a turbo, buy my hks gt2530. T3 flanged. All it needs is a wg can and the clamps/bolts that secure the housings to the chra. Pics in my f/s thread.

Want a downpipe flange, make your own. It's not difficult.


To the op: YOU CANNOT RUN A 420a off a 4g63 ecu. That's ------- dumb to even ponder that ecu would work with a NEON ENGINE. You want to run dsm 450s, get an smfu and a resistor pack. If you want to spend more money, ditch the smfu and run MSnS and a 1:1 fpr.




Now, i'd like to comment on the fact it sickens me you have the same car i do and you're a racist peice of ---- that doesn't know your ------- from your elbow.

---- it, just bolt the turbo up on the stock fuel sytem. dont run a wastegate or a blow off valve either. Since the owner is a ******, what do you care if he blows it up? You could always blame it on his driving and then have him pay you more money to fix it. That's the shady way to go about it.......

And i hope you know that a 4g63 manifold will not fit on a 420a head. You can "african american RIG" it like a beaner by hacking off the flange and jb welding the 420a flange on to the 4g mani. This is the icing on the cake for your half-assed plan........ If it blows up (and it will), i hope your ricer friend has buddies to back him up when he comes looking for you.
