You really should have respect for your neighbors, use common sense to not be an -------. However some people are just ------- douchebags/old people with nothing better to do. An old lady near me created a commitee to stop a kid from riding his bike on his own 500 acre farm. The sad part is the old lady won. How the ---- can you tell someone they are not allowed to ride their own bike on their own property. And it was a huge *** farm.

I dont think its that big of a deal to be idling a car with an open dp at 1pm in a garage...its not like we were doing burnouts at midnight...

...sure it was loud but no louder than someone mowing their lawn or using a leaf blower.

Our association was just formed so all 5 of them try to be toughguys. I've gotten letters for the following:

Kids toys stored in the front yard.
Working on cars in the driveway.
Parking my van in guest parking.

Then I got a letter saying that I was disturbing the neighbors while working on my car. I saw the 5 douchebags walking the neighborhood at 8am when they were writing ---- up. Garage door was closed, no work being done in the garage, and all the neighbors gone for work. I asked all the neighbors if they were the ones I "disturbed" and they said no.
So I figured out that one or two of the association people drive by my house on thier way home from work (I live on the corner of the main street) and they see the shuttle in the garage when the door is open. Apperantly that's not fitting for thier "Brady Neighborhood" so they start writing me stupid letters. I know this because I called the head bitch and she couldn't explain anything, tell me which neighbor I was disturbing, or which association douchebag decided I had disturbed anyone.
Me and the redneck neighbor are going to the next meeting on the 12th to stir up some ----. He'll be making the case against the nogs that live accross the street on welfare and I'll be making the case of "don't send me anymore bullshit letters about anything for any reason". I figure once they know they are going to have to have an actual occurance they saw to write me a letter they won't ---- with me anymore. The "riding a dirtbike in the neighborhood" thing is a given though. I know it's coming. I've riden every day for the last week. PW80 ownz jooo.

I can't complain. I work on all my neighbors cars and they help me do stuff I need help with. We turbo'd my neighbor's Subaru and the neighbor behind me bought my turbo EK. The only complaint is that they wanna see burnouts. I don't think its appropriate.
