If it came from a homeowners association and it is in your restrictions then you have to comply or your family might see some fines. If it just came from a stupid neighbor, ignore it, there's nothing they can do, is your damn garage, you can do whatever you want.

I had a guy that got pissed off because I did an engine swap in the driveway of our rented house, he said he rented the house for living not for business, I was like WTF, this aint business is my damn f'ing car.....we got kicked out in about a month :P

i dont have too many problems with my neighbors, after i sold my system a while back they really dont care what i do, well, at least they dont whine to me about it anymore

My neighbor had a couple RX7's and he was constantly revving them, burning out, flying around, and ran around a few days without an exhaust on. My neighbors never said squat.

The best solution would probably be to get MORE ripped apart cars that are louder, later at night.

Ive never had any respect for "letter writers", if the guy dosent have the jam to come up to your house when hes got a beef then ---- em. I mean, if the guy came out and politly asked you if you could do somthing then it would be different. Thats my take anyways.

My Neighbours kick ***, the ones next door to me are from South Carolina drive a civic and are fascinated with what I do on my driveway, my 2 neighbours directly in front of my house are awesome too, one of them owns a Dodge Super Bee with cams and headers that he just put on, thing makes more noise than a honda thats for sure.
The other neighbour infront is proud to see that I'm actually in a hobby like this instead of out there doing drugs and commiting crimes and robbing people.
Both of them come by sometimes when I work on my car, they both said they dont mind the noise at all, most of the time they dont really notice it anyway, then again I usually finish making noise around 7-8pm and then clean up.

yeah, my exhaust is loud sometimes, but mostly my neighbors dont complain at all, cus who the ---- cares?

I have yet to get a complaint and i live in a new development. I think people may be afraid to come and tell us ----. everyone that lives in the house are between 21-25 . We were driving my brothers car the other day open dp at like 11 pm . also cutting some piping at 10-12 pm

my neighbor compalin about my civic sayin its "too loud and wake him up at nite and makes is dogs bark" yet the ------- has a harley and rev's that ****** up at 7am on saturday and sunday for 30min, i asked him why he does that he said to "warm it up" so i do the same now, only on weekdays oh yeah and his dogs ---- in my lawn, so i bag the ---- up and give it back to him.
