I know more than a few people who have fallen from well over 80 and walked away without a bruise. If you dont hit anything major you just slide to a stop. Thats why you buy good protective hear.

Spring isnt the time to buy a bike, i got this bike for a hair over 4k, and there is less than 4kmiles on it. Came with flushmount lights and a nice windscreen. Only downside is that it was salvage from a few tiny nicks on the frame.

+1 two of my friends have dumped their bikes at over 80 twice each, another one did it once. All but 1 time one was wearing leather...nothing but a few bruises. The kid that wasnt wearing leather ........lets just say he's lucky since he slid into a fence.
