Google and Isohunt Team Paradox regarding Vista crack. Eumlates these blanket licenses M$ gives to hp, asus, etc for their mass produced systems. Been running Ultimate for free over the last couple months. Takes all the updates and nobody's knocking on my door. It's really buggy just in that it's such a resource hog that unless I had hardcore cpu, ram, and v-card it's not really worth it. I try to run three or four fairly decent progs and it hangs something awful. I've been considering ubuntu. Thought of going back to 2K pro/linux dual boot for old times sake.

I'm sure xp supports multicore procs, works server has a quad core. It uses NT, but xp is built around th NT kernal, right?
Going intel q6600 next, looks pretty darn overclockable, especially with g0 stepping. The one with b3 (?) stepping was easily oc'ed from 2.4ghz to 3348ghz on a intel chipset with minimal cooling upgrades and voltage increases.
